Methodology & caveats

District assignment. Council District 5 membership was confirmed against the City and County of Denver's own authoritative reference layer — the Council_District_RNO feature service, which carries a CD_5 field for every registered RNO citywide. This is the same dataset behind the City's public "Registered Neighborhood Organizations by Council District" map.

Two records — Opportunity Corridor Coalition of United Residents and East Colfax Neighborhood Association — carry CD_5 = Yes in the City's layer, but other evidence points elsewhere: OCCUR's registered address and boundary sit in far-northeast Denver (Montbello/DIA, District 11), and East Colfax's own site references District 6/8 officials, consistent with 2022 redistricting reporting that moved East Colfax fully into District 8. Both are kept here for completeness and clearly flagged — confirm with Denver Community Planning & Development before treating either as a core District 5 relationship.

Enrichment coverage. Meeting schedules and social accounts were pulled from each organization's own website or public social pages. Many small HOAs and neighborhood associations don't publish a recurring schedule online — those read "Not publicly listed — contact directly." A few listed sites returned errors during research and should be reconfirmed before use.

Overlapping organizations. Several District 5 neighborhoods host more than one registered organization covering the same ground (e.g. Mayfair Park Neighborhood Association vs. Mayfair Neighbors, Inc.; Crestmoor Park Two HOA vs. Crestmoor Park Neighborhood Association; Congress Park Neighbors, Inc. vs. Congress Park for All). Each is kept as a distinct entry, matching the City's RNO roster.
